The rapture or return of Jesus Christ for his Bride the Church 

¹³But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope. ¹⁴For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. ¹⁵For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. ¹⁶For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: ¹⁷Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. ¹⁸Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The above words found in 1st. Thessalonians 4th chp.  Verse 13-18 describes the event Christians call the rapture, or the taking to heaven by Jesus all those who are his born again baptized believers and followers.  Everyone on earth who rejected Christ will be left behind to enter the terrible 7 yr. tribulation where the wrath of God will be poured out on those who rejected or ignored his son Jesus.  You can read the details about those terrible judgements by reading the book of Revelations and other articles here on this web site.

The Bible calls the followers of Jesus " The Bride of Christ "  Pictured above   They are also called the temple of God. Why do I suggest that this Rosh Hashanah Sept 28th through Sept 30 2011 could be the time that Jesus returns for his bride?  Lets consider a few things. The Bible say's that no one knows the day or hour of his return. That is true as is every word in the Bible is true. We don't know exactly what year this will occur so consequently can't know the day or hour. Jesus has kept this unknown for centuries perhaps because if people knew the exact time they would live in sin until the last day and then repent. He wants us to be living for him daily.   Looking at past history and Jewish holydays gives us some sign post. He tells us to watch and wait. He pronounces a blessing on those who look for his coming with loving anticipation.  He gives many signs that proceed his arrival. We will look at many of these signs in the next lesson in this series.

Jesus fullfilled the spring holydays.   Jesus was crucified at the time of the  Passover.  That  is when they were commanded by God to sacrafice a lamb which was as symbol of Jesus the lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world.  He arose on the 3rd day  That was Sunday morning the 1st day of the week.  That was the feast of First Fruits. He was the first fruits from the dead to eternal life. The Jews cut the first sheaves of wheat on this day at harvest time. They were instructed by God to offer them as a wave offering before the Lord. They didn't realize that it was symbolic of the resurrection of Jesus.  Fifty days later the  Holy Spirit descended upon the day of Pentecost.

Jesus had told his desciples to stay in Jerusalem until the recieved power from high. He was speaking here of the Holy Sprit. After his followers recieved the indwelling of the Holy Spirit they could preach in not in their power but in the power of the Holy Sprit and do great miracles    So we see that Jesus fulfilled all of the Spring Holy days right on time.  I believe he will full fill  the fall Holy Days right on time. His 2nd coming or the rapture of the church will be right on the appropriate Jewish Holy day.  Rosh Hashanah is the day of the blowing of the trumpet. He will descend from heaven with a great trumpet blast and the voice of the arc angel and the dead in Christ will arise, and we which are still alive at that time will be caught up in the air to be with Lord forever. We will come back with him on white horses at the end of the tribulation when he sets up his millennial kingdom and rules here on earth for 1000 yrs. After the 1000 yrs are finished we will enter the new heavens and earth for which this web site is named.

Jesus fullfilled all of the Spring Holydays..  They were fullfilled at his first coming. He fullfilled them on the very day they had been celebrated for centuries of Jewish history.

If Jesus doesn't come this Rosh Hashanah,   I will be looking for him  next Rosh Hashanah 

If you are not a born again Christian now don't wait for Rosh Hashanah get saved now because no knows the exact day or night they will die and leave this life and this world. You don't take chances with your soul It is the most precocious procession you have.

Fall Holydays  Rosh Hashanah is the feast of the trumpet.  It is the time when Jesus will descend from heaven with the sound of the trumpet and the soul stirring cry to awake from the dead and ascend to heaven with the Lord.  He will fulfill the fall holydays on their very accurate scheduled time. The Lord is never to early or to late. He is always on time.  The other 2 fall holy days left will apply to Israel after the church is gone.
